#Bijou_Bleu is a small coach house located in the Hintonburg neighbourhood of Ottawa. A bachelor apartment is placed on top of an existing garage to create an affordable rental unit. The bright blue metal cladding was selected to reflect the vibrant personality of the owner. The most unique design feature is a hidden basketball net on the front façade. A hinged wooden screen swings open to reveal the net and simultaneously protect the feature window.
