The Glebe St. James United is a historic church that has served its community for decades. Over the years, several additions have been made to the original structure, and the aging congregation needed a way to access the various levels.

A new public entrance was created to connect the original church with the Montessori School on-site. The bright and welcoming atrium uses ramps and lifts to connect the spaces while respecting the heritage elements of the original church.

On the outside, a new courtyard provides a place for the community to gather and unite.
