In 2012, Habitat for Humanity Brampton was given the opportunity to develop a second house on a donated piece of land in Brampton Ontario. After spending over a year developing the prototype used at 20A Hoskins Square, Habitat for Humanity was eager to replicate the design. The challenge became to take the predefined layout and adapt it to a new location further south on the site.

The final design re-orients the major fenestration to the south and east elevations to capitalize on the passive solar gain while simultaneously giving each room unique views. The articulation created by the random stacked lumber also acts to break up sound coming from the adjacent roadway.
